20 January, 2000 - (SEASON ONE/S1) The rules on this page apply to the Soccer
All Stars Management League (SAS), IRC Channel (#sas) and anything else
associated with this site excluding some affiliates. You must read these
terms and conditions before you will be accepted to our league. Failure to
read the rules will result in your immediate termination. Rule #13: If any amount of biased deals are detected then the clubs involved will be put under investigation. The definition of biased deals is selling players to clubs on the cheap, to clubs that you are friendly on the cheap or to destroy your current club due to you not liking them. This will result in heavy penalties or termination. Rule #14: The jobs in the league are divided into two different categories. Category A and Category B. Category A board members are the hardcore members who have a major say in the running of the league. These members are not allowed to manage within the league or vice versa. However, managers are allowed to take up Category B positions on the site which may include jobs such as a Columnist or a Representative. Managers are only allowed one team per person and anyone caught abusing that rule will be terminated from the league and given a 'life-ban' from managing at SAS. Rule #15: The Executive Board reserve the right to terminate your position in SAS at any given time, with or without reason. We call all the shots here at SAS. Rule #16: Throughout seasons, the Executive Board will come across managers who will continue to be a pain. Either purposely or by no fault of their own. We will kill them off in the next main news story. Pick of the bunch are fatal car crashes, shot down by gunman and drowned sleeping in the bath. Rule #17: Matches are played every Saturday. Tactics have to be submitted to their deadlines! Your Match Squad and Team Instructions must be submitted a day before the game at 6:30pm! If you fail to meet these deadlines on a regular basis you will be punished via fining or even termination provided your club feel your under achieving. Missing a deadline will almost certainly result in your side losing that particular match. Rule #18: RPs are supposed to be well thought out descriptive pieces of writing. If you can't manage a single paragraph in your RP then it's not worth applying or RPing at all. We want quality and will punish those who fail to produce. Rule #19: Occasionally there will be a RANDOM SECTOR DAY (CLICK TO READ MORE). You must accept these days as part of the league. They can benefit you and your team or sometimes not! Rule #20: ICQ is a very important tool to have. With it you can communicate with other SAS managers. ICQ can be used for negotiations and haggling over the prices of players when buying or selling. This is extremely important as we do NOT really want to see haggling on the RP board. The RP board is for long QUALITY RPs and not negotiating prices for players. However once a player has been signed or sold then it's a GOOD idea to do a RP about it! Rule #21: When signing a player BOTH teams MUST submit the transfer details using the form provided at the INFORMATION DESK. If BOTH teams fail to submit the details then the transfer will be delayed causing the player to be ineligible to play for his new club. Rule #22: Our final rule is to have FUN!!! Don't take things personally or too seriously! If your sacked live with it! We like sacked managers to come back and participate in the league again, it makes good news and a good league! So if your thrown out for doing something bad, don't worry it's all part and parcel of the fun. The rules are not that complex although there are MANY missing from this page due to common sense. Rules will be added or taken away as necessary. Rule 23: Once accepted into the league, the SAS Executive Board will send URLs to pages that are NOT visible on the site. The URLs to certain pages are to remain SECRET from non members/managers. In the event that you've passed on the URL to someone from outside the league, penalties and/or termination will result. The URLs of these SECRET pages will regularly change and all managers/members will be given an ample notification of when this happens. Rule 24: SECRET pages are basically pages that are NOT visible to non members due to a number of reasons. These pages are usually FORMS for managers only. Therefore to avoid spamming, cloning etc, they are only available to managers to view. This
site is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, 16 bit
true colours and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. It should
however work in MOST screen resolutions and web browsers. It's advisable
to view this page in full screen mode. This site is copyrighted © to
